Sweet and Spicy Mango Pachadi

Yet another Pachadi to celebrate this Ugadi, with season fresh Raw Mangoes and Neem Flowers, sweetened with Jaggery. This is even made on Tamil New Year Day at our home (very similar to Ugadi Pachadi to mark the mix of all flavours). I have made this pachadi in OPOS way this time to make it even more easier. If you have bottled tadka ready you can add along with fresh neem flowers on opening else you can add freshly made tadka.

Happy Ugadi :)

Mango Tender Coconut Smoothie

A tasty and delicious smoothie that is made with Sweet Luscious Organically Grown Mangoes and Mineral rich natural Coolant Tender Coconut. This is one great way to relish the Mangoes during the season. This combo is loaded with Vitamins A, C and important minerals and a bountiful mount of dietary fiber. I tried various combinations of Mango and this one turned out really good one to indulge in.

Would love to hear feed backs :) A best drink for kids.

Mango Lemonade - Summer Cooler

I ensured that this season I use the Organically Grown Mangoes that we got from a known farm in every other possible way. One of the delicious recipe is the Mango Lemonade which is a real refresher with the sweetness of Mango and tanginess of Lemon. A very simple and easy to make recipe that is loved by kids and can be a refresher in home parties. No need to mention that it is loaded with Vitamin A and C and Organic Sugar I added here increases the health quotient.

Hope you enjoy this simple delicacy :)

Ripe Mango Rasam / Mambazha Rasam

Being the season of the King of Fruits..The Sweet and Luscious Mangoes...it is raining mangoes at home. Good part is that I do get home grown Organic Mangoes from my native. I make sure I try all Mango recipes during this season for the family to relish those sweet delights in all forms..And today it is Rasam with the sweet delicious mangoes lot that I got yesterday.

Not to mention the bountiful benefits that this fruit offer to us. This fulfill 25% of the daily need of Vitamin A by our body. It also lowers cholesterol and very good for skin health.

Here is a simple recipe to relish this fruit...I have used Lemon here and avoided Tamarind for a better flavour and rich taste.

Happy Cooking :)

Ice Apple Mango Dessert

A dessert with the seasonal fruits??? Doesn't that sounds great... Yes it is the dessert I tried with the fruits of the season, Mineral Rich Ice Apples and Vitamin Rich delicious Juicy Mangoes. The added happiness would be adding those sweet mangoes grown organically in your own home garden. When I saw those ripened mangoes at my home town when I visited a week back, I wanted to do something cool. The tender Ice Apples that my Father in Law brought for us to relish made me to try this unique combo of Mango and Ice Apples. It was a great hit at home with addition of golden raisins. Yet another easy peasy recipe to try this season.

Enjoy this deliciously cool dessert :) Check this post for Benefits of Ice Apple.

Mango Tango Rasam

A flavorful and delicious version of Rasam to relish during Mango seasons.. Once tried you will fall in love with the taste of this recipe..

Manga Vathal Arachuvitta Kuzhambu

An authentic grandma recipe which I have always relished in my childhood and its a favorite one for all in the family. Goes well with Hot Rice accompanied by Appalam or Vathal and I like it best with Curd Rice..It has no tamarind added as the Mango will impart the sour taste. If you make dry mangoes during seasons you can relish this throughout the year.
