Wonder Wraps - Peas Olive Wrap

In my Wonder Wrap Series, its an interesting combo of Garden Fresh Peas and Luscious Olives. A best way to include fresh peas during the season..and with the Olives and Cheese, it becomes a wholesome and tasty wrap for kids.

Peas are very low in Saturated Fat, Cholesterol and Sodium. They are very good source of Protein, Vitamin A, Niacin, Vitamin B6, Folate, Phosphorus and Copper, and a very good source of Dietary Fiber, Vitamin C, Vitamin K, Thiamin and Manganese.

My son just loved this combo...

Wonder Wrap Series I

Having a fuzzy eating kid at home is what make moms tensed up in early mornings..Getting them to eat their breakfast and giving them a healthy and palatable lunch box is always challenging..For my son who is a fuzzy eater too, I found Wraps are the best way to make him eat all veggies and its almost 6 years by now..his lunch box is mostly Wraps.. My Wonder-wrap Series are the time tested ones with my Son and are obviously approved by him by showing his empty lunch boxes and in fact he gives many ideas now a days on fillings...I have a good number in this series for which I shall start sharing the recipes in the form of a table..as the method of wrapping remains the same except for the filling and wrap base.

Here comes my first set of recipes...

1. Choco Almond Wrap - Completely Power Packed and Yummilicious Wrap with the goodness of almonds and Kids Favorite Choco Syrup drizzled generously

2. Spicy Ridge Gourd Wrap - Wraps are the best way to include Desi Veggies into our Kid's Lunch Box..and this spicy filling with a dash of Oregano is truly a tempting one

3. Cabbage Olives Saucy Wrap - Cabbage and Olives with a dash of Oregano is an exotic blend with tomato ketchup to get the tanginess

The Recipe Table is here...

I will keep updating other recipes as similar sets :) Happy Wrapping :) Would love to hear your feed backs and see your wraps too :)

Is your kidoo making the bfast time a highly stressful and is your dining table becoming a battle ground everyday...? Here you go with interesting recipes that I am going to post on a regular basis....(which are time tested with similar fussy eater at my home..my son :) )

Idlies...a traditional and healthy food of South Indians..a light food and its easily metabolized in body because of the conversion of starches during the process of fermentation.

Having idlies for breakfast is a great idea but why to bore the kids with the usual idlies..with some variations and twists we can make them take idlies without fuss and also smartly we can include the veggies into their meal..by these array of colorful idlies..and you can be satisfied you have given your kids the nutrients they need..

Give it a try and let me know your feed backs :)

Red Cabbage Sweet Corn Idlies :

Also referred to as Purple cabbage which is rich in nutrients, often taken as Salad. It has 10 times more Vitamin A and twice as much Iron as the regular green version..

By including them in regular idly batter you can give your kids a colorful, flavorful and healthy breakie,,,

Red Cabbage Sweet Corn Idlies

Palak/Spinach Carrot Idlies :

No need to mention the high nutritive value of Spinach..and kids too aware their importance..Thanks to Popeye..the Sailorman..but making it more palatable is what we need to do as a dutiful mom..

This healthy mix of Carrot and Spinach is sure to meet the daily needs of Vitamin A, C and dietary fibre...
